10 amazing homemade face masks and scrubs recipes

Going to the beauty salons for a glowing skin can get very expensive, what if you can just mix up some ingredients that you probably already have at home to make face wash and masks that are just as good as the ones they make at the beauty salons?

Here are 10 easy recipes for you to try at home.

1. Tea, water and honey

1 cup of cold tea

2 tbs of rice flour

1 tbs of honey

Mix all 3 ingredients together, apply on the skin and leave it for the min. Of 30 minutes, before washing your face massage in circles. This removes the dead skin and evens the skin tone.

2. Oats and lemon

2 tbs of cooked oats

2 tbs of fresh squeezed lemon juice

Mixe the ingredients, and massage the face with it. This smoothes the skin.

3. Turmeric and milk

1 tbs of all purpose flour

1 tbs of turmeric

2 tbs of fresh squeezed lemon juice

2 tbs of milk

Mixe all the ingredients, use it to scrub your face with, leave it to dry and wash your face. This mask is good for dry skin, works well as anti ageing skin and brightens skin.

4. Tomato and turmeric

1 fresh tomato made to juice

1 tbs turmeric

Mix the ingredients, apply to face and allow it to dry, than wash off.

5 Yogurt and orange peel

Dry the peel of an whole orange

4 tbs of Unflavoured yogurt

Mix the two ingredients to make a paste, apply to face and let to dry before washing of.

6 Avocado and honey

1 Avocado

6 tbs honey

Mix up the ingredients and use it as mask. This helps for dry skin.

7 carrots and avocado

Mashed carrots

Mashed avocado

This is good for dry and works as anti ageing for skin.

8 Brown sugar scrub

4 tbs of brown sugar

4 tbs of warm water

Mix up, and use as facial scrub, this smoothes skin.

9 Dark chocolate face mask 

Turn the dark chocolate to paste, apply to the skin, leave to dry before washing. This is an excellent moisturise.

10 egg white and yogurt

2 egg whites

2 tbs of plain yogurt

Mix the ingredients, apply to face and leave for 5 minutes before watching.
