5 ways to use a lipstick

Why waste money on buying every product there is when you can you use the ones that you already have in many area. Let me walk you through what you can use ONE lipstick for.

1. As a lipstick

Okay, so… No need to explain here? Right? πŸ˜‰

2. Colourred Lip balm/lipgloss

You probably just throw out a ruined lipstick, which you don’t have to; take a small container, mix the lipstick with some Vaseline, (and coconut oil) put it in microwave for a few seconds until it melts together, take it out, blend the mixture till it’s properly blanded, let it cool down (I put my in the fridge), and voila! You’ve got yourself a coloured lip balm.Β

And as a lipgloss, just apply lipstick on with some coconut oil/Vaseline.

3. Cream blush/blush

If you didn’t already know this, cream blush and cream lipstick has almost the same consistency, which means that you can actually use your lipstick as blush! Back in the days, lipstick was used as blush why not now? I do it… And it works perfectly. I only have one blush that matches one of my lipsticks, and for the other lipsticks I use the lipstick.

4. Eyeshadow/eyeshadow base

Yes, you can use your lipstick as eyeshadow! It works perfectly and it’s long lasting too.

5. Concealer

  • As colour corrector: instead of wasting your money on colour correctors, why not use your lipstick. Red for dark skintone and orange/pink for light/white skintone.
  • As contouring/highlighter: Yes, use your nude lipstick as eyebrows/cheekbones highlighter and your brown one for contorting.
  • Under eyes cover: or if you just want to cover the bags under your eyes.

This look, I’ve used the red lipstick I’m wearing as colour corrector, eyeshadow and as blush πŸ˜‰
